This year’s event – held at The Green School in Taranaki – was billed as a way to bring people back
together after half a decade and connect over ideas, tools and technology that will support the
permaculture kaupapa in Aotearoa.
The weekend event included a range of workshops and talks from some of the most
prominent permaculture practitioners in NZ, sharing their ideas about how to connect with the land and
change habits for a hopeful future.
This year’s Hui involved a mix of educational sessions and talks, practical workshops, entertainment, and connection time.

This year’s event was notable for bringing together several elders and pioneers of New Zealand permaculture with young leaders and rising stars.
